I need to venture outside my comfort cave, to the passion park.

Yes, I call it a comfort cave…warm, dry, safe, with soft furniture and food & beverages nearby. Not much risk of failure, here.

So tell me, how much will I grow as a person in this bubble?  And how much space exists here for PASSION?   Internet motivator Seth Godin  suggests that if you’re short on passion it may be because your goals are too small,TOO attainable, or perhaps your fear of fear is TOO BIG!   Seth coaches to RIGHTSIZE YOUR PASSION  here.

Fear of failure, or the drudgery of work  often cloud the bright clarity of our vision.  So, I’ll focus sharper on my goals, my dreams, my vision. I’ll release my fear…of FEAR!  Failure ain’t no thang…it’s merely a process. It’s usually the FEAR that I fear, not the step of failure.

How about you?  Have you been intoxicated by comfort?

About orangeacorn

We are, I believe, and everything is, in perpetual unfolding/enfolding/evolving. By surface appearances, we're in turmoil and fearfullness, but in fact our existence is on the edge of a new way, beyond the US versus THEM we have grown with. I encourage you to join me over coffee or tea in face-to-face encounters. I call this exercise, "CAFFEINE COMMUNION: Encounters with Paradigm Pioneers." I'm a Columbus, Ohio husband, father and citizen. I practice string band sounds from the ridges of Pocahontas County, West Virginia, the vortex of the ancient drone.
