Cyndi describes herself as an intuitive healer.
She practices throughout central Ohio, professionally known as Willow Niemela, providing guidance through tarot, clairvoyance, astrology, and mediumship. At our interview December 7 at Bexley Coffee Shop, Cyndi pointed out to me that our teachers are sometimes not supportive guides with kind lessons. We can also learn from those who challenge us, sometimes contentiously, people who are operating at a different level from us at this moment of our development. Our individual development and how we interact with others is in constant flux of different levels of learning which bleed into our awareness.
I start these interviews with a fundamental question: WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR/WHAT PERSONAL VALUES ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE?
CYNDI: I stand for love and compassion. I try to approach all things with love and try to be non-judgmental. Learning is a positive value and it energizes me as I try to practice.
Q-2: WHAT CAN WE DO IN OUR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT THAT SPREADS THE GOOD TO OTHERS?
CN: To keep realizing we have core values in common, as humans, even though our surface behavior is often different. We need to take the risk of getting out of our comfort zones and reach out to people who are different from us.
Q-3: WHAT PERSONAL MISSION INSPIRES YOU?
CN: Her mission as an intuitive healer energizes her and she is active daily in her mediumship. And she is mother to two children, a girl and a boy.
Q-4: WHAT ACT OR PROJECT ARE YOU WORKING ON NOW? HOW ARE YOU CHANGING YOUR WORLD?
CN: Providing support for Rowynn and Carmeda, our mutual friends. They married in June, 2016, and four months later Carmeda was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in two different parts of her body. As a mother, Cyndi also focuses on her daily project of raising two decent humans. This is her #1 priority.
Q-4: HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH UNCERTAINTY?
CN: Uncertainty manifests in her as anxiety, and when she senses the onset, she sits and breathes. This helps her achieve balance, and it works, every time! She also meditates. We agreed that uncertainty can be balanced by our awareness of our privilege, our health and comfort that is so easy to take for granted. Our focus on the concept of gratitude is a method to effectively deal with the uncertainty of fear.
Q-5: HOW DO YOU ENVISION YOUR PERSONAL LIFE, AS WITHIN YOUR CONTROL, IN FIVE YEARS, IN 2022?
CN: My daughter will be entering college,so getting her to that stage. Rowynn and I want to expand our business, open a center in order to provide healing for more people in need.
Q-6: HOW DO YOU ENVISION THE UNITED STATES, THE WORLD IN 2022?
CN: “We’ll still be here,” she confidently states. When we get caught up in our own immediate challenges, we lose perspective of the bigger scale of existence. We’re being challenged. There’s a lot of energetic wounds in this country that need to be addressed, that we’ve never bothered to heal. These wounds have been here since the populating of our country. But Cyndi has confidence; “we’re here for a reason.” Confidence that growth is occurring, that her children, our children, offer a different perspective. Our children might be alive to see these wounds fully addressed, that these brilliant young minds will change the planet.
Thank you Cyndi. Personally, I feel more comfortable, less anxious, upon hearing her point of view.
